Monte Ritondo, Corsica

The route to the top of Monte Rotondo was dotted with tiny cairns that we followed in moon- and torch-light to get to the summit for dawn.

At the summit I constructed a number of cairns while we waited for the sun to rise.

Descending, I added many more waymarking cairns to help the next walkers to come this way, and arriving back at the lake below the summit, I built a collection of tiny cairns out in the lake.
